The guest may cancel the reservation free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date.
If the reservation is cancelled within 30 days prior to the arrival date, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
In the event of a no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

Resilienza Tropical Apartment, acting as Data Controller, informs you that, for the establishment and performance of the accommodation contract and the provision of the requested services, it is necessary to collect and process personal data relating to guests.

Following an internal assessment, the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO) was not deemed necessary.

2. Purpose of Processing

management of booking requests and stays;
performance of the accommodation contract;
compliance with legal, administrative, tax, accounting and public security obligations;
payment management and debt recovery procedures where applicable;
protection of the Data Controller's rights in judicial or extrajudicial proceedings.
3. Processing Methods

Personal data will be processed in paper, electronic and telematic form in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimisation and security established by the GDPR.

4. Nature of Data Provision

Providing the requested data is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract and for compliance with legal obligations.

Failure to provide such data may result in the impossibility of establishing or continuing the contractual relationship and providing the requested services.

5. Disclosure of Data

Without prejudice to disclosures required by law, personal data may be communicated to authorised persons and service providers, including:

tax and accounting consultants;
the accountant responsible for tax compliance;
IT and property management service providers;
public authorities and competent bodies where required by law.

6. Data Retention Period

Personal data will be retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter for the period required to comply with legal obligations and to protect the Data Controller's rights, within the applicable limitation periods.

7. Rights of the Data Subject

The data subject may exercise the rights provided by Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, including:

right of access;
right to rectification;
right to erasure;
right to restriction of processing;
right to object;
right to data portability;
right to lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.
